Recovery Awareness Partnership
Palm Beach County has a large community of people in recovery.
With the Recovery Awareness Partnership, we intend to promote positive lifestyles for those in recovery by supporting events, programs, and other activities that are geared to sober living and positive peer environments.
One of our goals with the Recovery Awareness Partnership is to reduce the rates of relapses by building closer ties among the many treatment organizations in our area. We, as a community, need to address the factors that lead up to relapses and what can be done to prevent them.
Another goal is to build a connected community between those in long-term recovery and the rest of our community. We are doing this by emphasizing the importance of a strong recovery community and creating events that engage everyone.
The Recovery Awareness Partnership consists of treatment center alumni and staff, community representatives, and coalition members and staff.
